Costello Team

Social Media Manager

The Costello Team is a real estate group that operates in the Greater Seattle Area. I began working for them in January 2020. At the time, their social media presence was relatively small, so it was my job to help them grow.

Develop Relationship with Audience

1

2

Establish a Brand Voice

Working in real estate requires the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. I keep social media copy casual and humorous, without crossing that line.

"Our favorite recipe = this kitchen       + a cup of tea (or a glass of wine,        let's be real) +good company "

"What's outside your window? A           brick wall? A street? Your neighbor's trash? Don't settle for a lame view, we'll upgrade you to something worth looking at! "

"The best kitchens are big kitchens with lots of counter space and large windows. So basically, this one. "

3

Post Engaging Content

This means selecting the best images, editing them, and presenting them in a way that catches the audience's attention. For example, videos presenting sales for the month can be more engaging than a carousel of photos.

4

Interact with the Audience

Whether it's replying to comments or posting interactive content, it is important to engage with the audience. Social media is meant to be just that - social. This means posting content involving the real estate agents, to show that human side, interacting with other accounts, and  designing user-inclusive content. It's all about building relationships.
